The Quoratory

The First Status Quo Fan Page on the internet.
The first ever Quo Pages on the internet from John-Alex Burglund in Norway were started in November 1995. There is lots of Quo information, all the tour dates from 1976 onwards, discographies and lyrics to Quo songs. Last Updated in 1997.

The Mexican Quo Site
Following Quo's gigs in Neza, Mexico in February this year, David Ramirez Espinosa has put up the first Mexican Quo site, parts of it are still 'under construction' and it's in the Spanish language.

The Status Quo Brazil Homepage
By Fernando Vieira and Gustavo Pereira. This is the new Status Quo home page from Brazil, which now has lots of pictures from Quo's 2003 shows in São Paulo and Rio. The site is in Portuguese and English.

State Of Quo/John Coghlans Quo....(www.stateofquo.com)
The UK's most well known Quo cover band, who also tour with ex drummer John Coghlan, this site features tour dates, photos and more etc. Make sure you go see them for a taste of old Quo, played as it should be. The site is by Pär Engström.

by Mikael Brefelt. The official site for Little Egypt, which is the band that Francis' sons Nick and Kieren Rossi are in. Listen to samples of their music and find out where they are playing.... Nicks voice sometimes sounds very similar to a young Francis!! ... a great site.

Quotations/Piledriver
by George Gough. A Quo cover band from the South East of England that formed in 1977 and ended in 1982. They may have been the first dedicated Quo cover band (anyone know any others from the seventies?). This is their story and a fascinating one it is... complete with band photos and photos of Quo themselves. Updated and re-designed in Novemeber 2002, and currently being re-designed for 2005.

Spare Parts
by Andrew Austin. Spare Parts are from Beds/Bucks area, and have been gigging since the early '90s. The band play a lot of Quo songs in their set from all eras, and are doing a lot of gigs in that area. The site is constantly being updated, so check back regularly for more details.

Spectres Of Quo
A Quo cover band from the west of Sweden that play a full set of classic Quo songs in the spirit of the 70’s, complete with bell bottom jeans, platform shoes and long hair! This site is by their guitar player Ingemar Bernhardsson.

Quo-Incidence
Quo-Incidence are a Bristol based band that have been together twelve months, and been successfully playing gigs around the Southwest for the last six months. They are currently in the studio recording tracks for the Quo tribute Album.

Counterfeit Quo
Originally formed as Piledriver in Essex in early 1995, Counterfeit Quo are regularly gigging throughout the UK and Ireland. Their site has upcoming gig listings, a history of the band, photos and details of their set list. According to the site: "Not only do you get the great QUO songs of the 70's, but the whole, totally live rock and roll show, at a volume not heard since The Rainbow Theatre 1972"...Check it out!

'Quo' (Denmark)
The only Quo cover band in Denmark were formed in 1998, and so far have played over 200 gigs. Full details can be found on their site.

'Quo' (Germany)
Another cover band called 'Quo'. This one comes from Hamburg and have been going for 13 years, playing gigs all over Germany. The site has details about the band, an MP3 of their version of Whatever You Want, their set list, and how to book them.

Piledriver (Germany)
This site is about the German cover band Piledriver, most of the site is in German, but parts are also in English. Piledriver gig in Germany and in the Nederlands.

Vincent and Quo
Site for the French cover band Vincent and Quo. The site is mainly in French and includes a french Quo forum and samples from the bands Quo cover CD, including their cover of 'Twenty Wild Horses'!

Shameless Quo
From Derby in the UK, this Quo cover band (From the fakers of...!) say they are "Recreating the raw power of Status Quo". Gig dates are listed on their site and there's reviews that testify that they put in a great rocking show. The site has been completely re-designed (March 2003) ....Don't miss them!

Rockers Rollin'
A Norwegian Quo cover band, their site is by Leif Kjetil Brørby who is the rhythm guitarist in the band. The site has details of upcoming gigs in Norway and a setlist which includes 'Old Time Rock and Roll', which makes them the first Quo cover band to do a track from the 'Famous' album!! Make sure you check out their excellent live MP3's of 'Caroline' and Backwater/Juniors Wailing.

Lay Down
A new Swedish band from Gothenburg that play Quo songs from the seventies, their new site has gig dates and information about the band.

Status Clone
A professional U.K. tribute band who have a power-packed, driving stage show, featuring Quo songs from all eras. The members of the band are all experienced players, and they have a full list of gigs throughout the UK. Excellent web site too, and they've even been featured in Guitarist magazine! These guys are going for it!

Dog of Two Head
A new Quo cover band who are based in the south-west of Holland. They play some of the Quo songs which are not usually played live by either Quo or by other Quo tribute bands, and they also include a lot of classic Quo songs in their set. Their first gig is on September 21st at the Dorpshuis 'Renesse' in Piershil.

Bogus Quo
A band from Southampton in the UK that were formed in November 2000. The site has pics, gigs, and info about the band. You can also buy their album 'Covered' featuring bogus versions of five of Quo's hits!

Paper Plane
A Coverband from Holland who's main influence is Quo, but they also play songs by other artists, Shania Twain, The Stones, Ben E King, Deep Purple and many others... but all played in Quo's style! It's an interesting idea... check them out.

Quo II
A tribute band based in Somerset. Quo II formed in 2002, and consists of 3 original members of Quo-incidence, who are currently touring the UK, playing mainly early tracks such as Slow Train, 4500 Times, Softer Ride, Little Lady, and Don't waste my time. Their site has good sound samples, pics, gig listings and more...

Squaw
Based in Switzerland, Squaw were formed in the early 90's. Their new site has pictures, tour dates and contact information for the band.

A cover band from the North East of England, the site features gig listings, photos, their set list and details about the band.

Strictly Quo
Strictly Quo were formed in South Wales in 1998, their new site has gig listings, their set list (which includes tracks from Heavy Treffic) and details of their CD.
